Here's to Nuala and Caolan whose spark is so bright I instantly loved them. I loved that Nuala eschewed traditions and walked herself down the aisle. I loved that her mother gave the first speech. I loved that their passion for life, their friends and their ideals basically radiated from them. I loved this day, every bit of it.
A very special thanks to Kelly McAllister for second shooting. That crazy amazing flower crown was made by The Rosehip And Berry Floral Studio.
Oh 2015 you were a sly minx! From Connemara to Kenmare to Cork and back again (more than once) it was an incredible year. We are more than 5 years into this game and growing ever more thankful every year that these beautiful souls invite us to put our mark on their memories. It is nothing short of a privilege and we still feel like we are just getting started.
Kristi still crys at every wedding and Neal still revels in the shot of adrenaline before each ceremony. To all suppliers who worked behind the scenes to make our jobs easier, thank you. To all the families who welcomed us in their homes (and countless cups of tea offered), thank you. To all the bridesmaids and groomsmen (and even the bridesmen) who offered helping hands and guidance, thank you. To our community of photographers who support us in countless ways, thank you. Most importantly, to our brides and grooms who were nothing short of beautiful people doing things exactly the way they wanted to do them, thank you!

These two beauties were surrounded by one big massive embrace of family and friends the entire day. The ease with which their day flowed is exactly why we love this job. They were up for everything we threw at them and more. The beautiful, still light at dusk reminded us of their engagement shoot on a secret little island and made a perfect bookend to their day.
As a sidenote - Deirdre kicked off what we are now calling The Year of Epic Dresses.
You know it's going to be a good year when your first wedding of the season is as awesome as this one.Gillian & Joe are intrepid journalists living in Nigeria. So the obvious wedding day joy was multiplied by the delight of their family and friends to have them home, even for a short while.
The bond that this couple share was evident during every second we spent with them - it really was one of those days that make us love our jobs!
