Adele & Kyle's Portrush Beach WeddingRead More
It's no secret around here that Neal is a lover of film photography. In fact all of his personal work is shot on film and developed in our kitchen. There is a shelf in our little home office on the 3rd floor that is a rotating merry-go-round of different film cameras. You know that drawer in your fridge that is supposed to be for vegetables? Yeah ours is for film.
Last year Neal bought a Hasselblad X-Pan and I swear I think it completes him. Around that time he stumbled on this post by Image is Found in California. Inspired by that post, Neal set out to photograph our next wedding (Caroline & Kev!) with a single roll of film. Hidden away at the bottom of his camera bag he whipped out the X-pan sporadically throughout the day. This is the result of Caroline & Kev's wedding day in 20 frames.
Film: Kodak TRI-X 400
We met Caroline and Kevin in Dublin a few months before their wedding. As soon as I found out Kevin was a mushroom farmer I had to resist spending the entire afternoon asking him about it (job envy). So needless to say we were looking forward to their wedding day.
There are a million things about this wedding that I could mention (the dress, the DIY etc etc) but none of it is as cool how these two managed to fill up a castle in the countryside with such love and warmth.
Also thanks to Confetti for featuring these two in their 2015 Annual edition.
