Our New Year’s resolution for Campbell Photography is to be better bloggers. So our first step in actually keeping that resolution is to share this kick-ass wedding!
Jane and Andrew were married on a very typical September day. The day started wet. Very wet. But as is often the case rain gave way and afternoon brought that beautiful autumn light which we treasure.
The wedding took place at Lissanoure Castle which was a perfect fit for Jane & Andrew’s eclectic and relaxed style. There was so much that we loved about this wedding, but we’ll limit it to two things here. The first was Andrew singing Emmylou by First Aid Kit at the open mic session during the drinks reception. But the most abiding memory will always be when the whole wedding joined in for the chorus of an emotional rendition of Neil Young’s Harvest Moon during the ceremony. That’s when we realised that it’s hard to take photos with a tear in your eye and a lump in your throat. Magical stuff.
So, it’s fair to say that we like Jane and Andrew’s style.
